I have recently worked out a technique to produce a portrait that is still an accurate likeness of the subject but takes considerably less time for me than my detailed, painted portraits. My daughter, Carol, has been telling me for years that I should have a type of portrait like this that would be somewhere between a caricature and a painted portrait both in price and style. These drawings take me considerably less time than my detailed, painted portraits. Because of that, I can afford to price them modestly beginning at $100 for a single face, and they are an option when there is limited time available.
